Position Overview

The Social Service Worker plays a pivotal role in our organization by providing direct support to clients facing diverse challenges, including mental health issues, substance abuse, housing instability, and financial hardship. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify clients’ needs, strengths, and challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with clients.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during challenging situations.
• Connect clients with community resources, support services, and networking opportunities.
• Advocate on behalf of clients to access necessary services.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions and progress.
• Participate in professional development, training, and team meetings.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Valid social worker license in the state (if applicable).
• Experience in social services or human services settings preferred.
• Strong assessment, counseling, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of community resources and services.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
